Experience, Trust, Commitment

There are thousands of agents out there who are competing for your business and are willing to do whatever it takes to represent you or someone close to you. Only a small percentage of these agents are knowledgable enough to focus their attention on your specific needs and look out for your best interests. It's not only about negotiating the highest paying contract, it's also about finding the best situation and most favorable contract terms to allow you to maximize your earning potential for several more contracts to come. WIth agents representing multiple players on a team, many of which may be your direct competition, it is important to know that your agent is aware of the bigger picture and working for you at all times.

I was introduced to this business almost 20 years ago when my husband was playing for the SF Forty-Niners. I have built strong relationships with the NFL, NFLPA, coaches, media outlets, financial and tax advisors, business organizations, and top brands in the country.  I am not only there for my clients through their playing years, but also through the transition period into retirement.  This is usually the most difficult time for players as very few players are prepared for it.  When there is nolonger a stadium filled with screaming fans, locker room comraderie, competitiveness on the field, and  five, six and seven figure paychecks to look forward to every week, many players have difficulty adjusting. Then add on the injuries that were sustained while playing that are now taking full effect. I was fortunate to meet Darryl Stingley prior to his untimely passing in 2007. He was a standout wide receiver for the NE Patriots who was paralyzed from the neck down after a controversial hit in 1978. Mr. Stingley shared the following statement with me which has heavily influenced my career as an agent and attorney: “A True Warrior is prepared to battle on the field AND in life off the field.”

Football is a dangerous sport where injuries come with the territory. However, if you can maximize the length and and value of your career and plan for your financial future at the very beginning, you will already be ahead of the game.
